TamilQ-ஐ கணக்கு இல்லாமலேயே பயன்படுத்தலாம். நீங்கள் Google கணக்கில் நுழைந்து TamilQ Plus அல்லது பண்டிகை pack வாங்கினால் மட்டும் உங்கள் email, பெயர் எங்களிடம் சேமிக்கப்படும். பணம் Google Play வழியாக மட்டுமே; உங்கள் card, UPI, வங்கி விவரங்கள் எங்களுக்கு வருவதில்லை. நாங்கள் உங்கள் தரவை யாருக்கும் விற்பதில்லை.
You can use TamilQ without an account. We store your email and name only if you sign in with Google to buy TamilQ Plus or the festival pack. Payments go through Google Play; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details. We do not sell your data.

Everything else stays on your phone only: saved quotes, settings, quiz streaks, the town you choose for the calendar, photos you add to images (photos are never uploaded). We do not collect your location, contacts, files, or browsing history. If AI explanations are switched on, the verse you ask about (not your personal data) is sent to Google’s Gemini service through Firebase to write the explanation.
Who processes the data
Google Firebase (Google LLC) stores the data above on our behalf; Google Play handles payments under Google’s privacy policy. We do not share your data with anyone else, except when the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account and data: in the app, Settings → கணக்கை நீக்கு, or at tamilq web: Delete account. Purchase records required by law are kept for up to 1 year without your email or name.
- Cancel a subscription: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TamilQ.
- Access, correction, questions, complaints: email thilakarseto@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
TamilQ has a letters section for children to use with a parent. Accounts and purchases are meant for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS and is stored in Google Cloud. Only the developer can read account and purchase records. If a data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes
We will update this page and the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
